Members build a public professional profile, follow companies, exchange direct messages, publish or browse offers, and discover business opportunities across the network.

## Company History

The bizTOnet journey began in 2012 when founder Omer TAKI envisioned a platform that would integrate business into a social network. Working in the business world at the start of the social-network boom, he saw a gap for a platform tailored to professionals engaged in business transactions. After a first attempt in 2014, the project was paused. The COVID-19 period accelerated the digitalization of business, prompting a relaunch from scratch with new design, technology, and features. The first version of bizTOnet went live in June 2023.

## How It Works

bizTOnet centers on three things a company can publish:

- **Products** — physical or digital goods a company sells.
- **Services** — services a company offers.
- **Opportunities** — demand-side B2B posts describing what a company is looking for (a partner, supplier, investor, etc.).

Key rules of the model:

- **Contacting a seller** about a product or service offer is **free for every registered member**, including free-plan members. The selling company pays to publish its offers, so buyers are never charged to make contact.
- **Opportunities** are reserved for business members: posting an opportunity and responding to one require a company business plan. Opportunities are gated and are not part of the public search index.
- Members **follow companies**, **message** other members and companies directly, and **bookmark** offers and posts they want to revisit.
